I would like to express my view as a Myanmar football fan for our coming SEA Game Football Final Match. Frankly, I see little chance that we can win the title based on both skills and experience of our players. As far as I know some of Thai players were Trained in abroad. One of them is from Manchester City Football Club. Thai striker Tirithep Winonthai is also an experience striker who used to train at Crystal Palace Football Club from UK. Both clubs might not be big team in UK but they are pretty good team in term of Asean standard. What about Myanmar players, we had some regional experiences. Some players are from National Team and those players have regional level game experiences in World Cup qualifier against China and Merdeka Cup. Their experience might be valuable input to our final game. Whatelse?? We have a good coach. I see that Myanmar Team playing technique has been improving since the arrival of Brazil Coach. Well, I might be wrong because I got a chance to watch only some highlight and one full game of semi final game against Vietnam. From Semi Final match, I could see that Vietnam controlled most of the first half but the situation was changed in the second half without many substitution. The reason might be our Brazilian coach. From second half till the end of the game, we were able to control the game pretty much.
What about coming final game? Thailand is host of this game. Definitely, home team Thailand will get extremely unfair advantage from Referee. That happened most of Asean football game and this will happen again. Moreover, Thai players are more skillful than ours. So is there any way that we can win the cup? Well, Myanmar team has pretty high winning spirit this time. So in my opinion, Myanmar will be able to take their small chance of winning the cup if they combine experience of National team players, team technique of Brazilian coach, and winning spirit that they had in semi final.
